video: Petr Polák, Jan Pokorný Původní luteránský Červený kostel v Olomouci byl veřejnosti uzavřen v roce 1959. Od té doby byl využíván jako knihovní depozitář zdejší vědecké knihovny. Olomoucký kraj se jako vlastník této památkově chráněné stavby rozhodl kostel zrekonstruovat a pro uskladnění knižního fondu vybudovat nový objekt. Úkolu se zhostilo studio atelier-r, které stávajícímu prostoru vdechlo novou kulturně-společenskou funkci.
The original Lutheran Red Church in Olomouc was closed to the public in 1959. Since then, it has been used as a library depository for the local scientific library. The Olomouc Region, as the owner of this listed building, decided to reconstruct the church and build a new building to store the book collection. The task was undertaken by the studio atelier-r, which breathed a new cultural and social function into the existing space.
