Architektonické úpravy Terminálu 3 respektují charakter původní budovy s prvky postmodernismu a zároveň vytváří silný signifikantní charakter terminálu směrem k letištní ploše. Neméně důležitým cílem stavebních úprav bylo oddělení letištních provozů v objektu a zlepšení přístupu k letištní ploše. To vedlo k instalaci nových výstupů a úpravám komunikačních prvků, jako jsou schodiště, rampy a zastřešení předprostoru. Nejvýraznějším prvkem těchto změn je nová ocelová konstrukce markýzy, která svým tvarem představuje exkluzivní vizuální prvek. Tento design se odráží i v podpěrném systému sloupů tvaru komolých jehlanů, v nových schodištích a rampách, čímž vytváří jednoznačně identifikovatelnou dominantu prostoru.
The architectural modifications to Terminal 3 respect the character of the original building with elements of postmodernism while creating a strong significant character of the terminal towards the airport area. An equally important goal of the construction modifications was to separate the airport operations in the building and improve access to the airport area. This led to the installation of new exits and modifications to communication elements such as stairs, ramps and the roofing of the forecourt. The most striking element of these changes is the new steel structure of the awning, which, due to its shape, represents an exclusive visual element. This design is also reflected in the support system of columns in the shape of truncated pyramids, in the new staircases and ramps, thus creating a clearly identifiable dominant of the space.
