Místo stavby je součástí Národního parku Šumava. Pod pozemkem vede poutní cesta Via Nova na Svatou Horu u Příbrami. Objekt jsme umístily dle zdejší stavební zvyklosti i vzhledem k využití krásných výhledů rovnoběžně s vrstevnicemi. Stavba je osazena do svahu s minimálními terénními úpravami. Pozemek není oplocen, tarasy z kamenných snosů po obvodě byly repasovány. Přírodní materiály v barevnosti shodné s původními staveními jsou tmavě mořené dřevo a světlá omítka. Dispozicí se dům blíží venkovskému stavení s typickým rozdělením na bydlení a servis.
The construction site is part of the Šumava National Park. The Via Nova pilgrimage route to Svatá Hora near Příbram runs under the land. We placed the building according to local building customs and to take advantage of the beautiful views, parallel to the contour lines. The building is set into a slope with minimal landscaping. The land is not fenced, the terraces made of stone drifts around the perimeter were renovated. Natural materials in colors identical to the original buildings are dark stained wood and light plaster. The layout of the house is similar to a rural building with a typical division into housing and service.
